With the opening of every fall semester comes a flurry of news related to the release of various national rankings of colleges and universities. At The College of New Jersey, as is the norm at most top academic schools, many look forward to seeing where we stack up each year.
Those who talk of the lazy days of summer surely are not referring to life on TCNJ’s campus. The lucky few who spend their summer vacationing might be surprised to know that campus is usually bustling throughout summer’s dog days.
On board for the fall 2006 semester is 2005 New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Doug Forrester. Forrester is teaching a First Seminar titled, "Can What is Morally Wrong be Politically Right?" on Tueasdy evenings.
The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs has officially launced Target 10,000, the most ambitious and critically important alumni initiative in our College’s history with a goal to reach 10,000 charitable gifts this fiscal year.
With energy prices soaring sky high on a national level, The College of New Jersey began an effort earlier this year to reduce the amount of energy needed to operate its offices, residence halls, and facilities.

The College is proud to announce receipt of the largest donation in the institution’s history. The $5 million gift annuity from Tom and Carol Loser will support TCNJ’s School of Nursing, Health, and Exercise Science. It will also honor Carol by naming the dean’s position in the school after her, a tribute in conjunction with the couple’s 25th wedding anniversary.

TCNJ will hold the Sixth Annual TCNJ Athletic Department Charity 5k Race-Walk. The event will take place on Sunday, October 15. For more information about the event, please contact TCNJ's athletic department at 609.771.2230.
