On February 22, 2007, Governor Jon Corzine proposed a state budget for fiscal year 2008, that includes a modest increase to The College of New Jersey’s base appropriation. 
When Jeffrey Osborn first encountered a team of faculty and administrators from the College at a workshop in 1997, he took a profound interest in the “innovative changes” that the College was undergoing. Ten years later, Osborn is dean of the School of Science.
The College of New Jersey was recently selected by the Merck Institute for Science Education (MISE) and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) as one of 15 colleges and universities nationwide to receive an award for undergraduate research.
