A 3-D Tomographic Investigation of the Upper Mantle Beneath Tuscany
Professor Maggie Benoit, Kelly Liszweski '10 and Megan Torpey '11 collaborated on two seismology projects. They studied the upper mantle below Northern Italy for active subduction zones, which produce large earthquakes, and they set up seismic stations in nearby states to collect new data.
