Poster Presentation

You are required to present your experience in poster form at the end of the Fall semester. There is no earlier time to do so. Details of the event will be provided via email. We *usually* start organizing this event in late October. Your manager/supervisor should review the poster, and please account for this in your schedule. Please submit a copy of your poster before the first day of classes.  Comments and/or suggestions will be provided later during the semester.

Posters are generally completed by making one large PowerPoint slide (change the page size) and printing it via the ITS office in the basement of the library. The cost for printing will be borne by you. We also ask that you laminate the poster to help protect it during display and for display in the department after the event. That cost is also borne by you. Some poster formatting guidelines and suggestions can be found here and under Pages on canvas.

Please review posters found on the walls in our department for ideas about formatting and content.

Note: These guidelines assume that you are registered for CSC399 in the Fall and perform your internship during the summer. In all other cases due dates and other time periods vary.

Confidentiality [IMPORTANT]

When you prepare your presentation, you must honor the confidentiality agreement between your employer and yourself. As soon as you start preparing your presentation, consult your on-site professional about what you can write. To protect yourself, you should obtain permission of the on-site professional (preferably in writing) before submitting any draft of your presentation to the faculty internship supervisor.
