Philomathean Sigma

Before Phi Sigma Sigma was established here at Trenton State College (now known as the College of New Jersey) in 1992, the local Sorority Philomathean Sigma existed. It was founded as a literary society at Trenton State College in 1897 (making us the oldest organization on campus).

The Name is Philomathean Sigma.

The colors are gold and white.

The symbols are ducks and the Joan Walsh Anglund dolls.

The flower is the Daisy.

The motto is "Coronum" which is translated to mean "Of One Heart."

The theme is "Lovers of Learning."
