Presented by The College of New Jersey and The Mercadien Group

The program has been offered since 2001. The information below is from our Spring 2008 offering. We are currently planning our next program.

Overview

The focus of the Nonprofit Management Program is on relevant management topics of critical value to executives of nonprofit organizations. The program consists of ten modules that cover topics in strategic thinking, leadership, governance/board issues, advocacy/political action, human resources management, marketing/grantsmanship, fundraising, financial analysis, using technology, and program evaluation. The program is limited to 20 attendees.

Benefits of attendance

The certificate program provides valuable skills and techniques that senior nonprofit executives can apply in their organization immediately. Both the participants and their organizations will benefit from this program. The modules are highly interactive and use a variety of learning methods. In addition to lectures, presentations, and demonstrations; the modules provide discussion groups, problem analyses, exercises, best practices, case studies.
