Spring Room Change Day

Rooms available to move into will be posted on Monday, February 9, 2009 outside of Eickhoff 114 and on the website. Room swaps will be accepted as well. Students may only swap rooms within their living cohort, i.e. FYE, SYE, UCE.

On Monday, February 9th students should pick up a Room Change Request form in Eickhoff 114 between 9am - 4pm. If you are moving into a vacant space no signatures will be needed on the form. If you are swapping rooms, signatures are required by all students within the rooms changing from and to.

After filling out all applicable parts of the Room Change Request Form, students should submit the form to Housing on Wednesday, February 11th between 9am - 4pm. No forms will be accepted before Wednesday at 9am. For all those present at 9am on February 11th, Housing will conduct a mini-lottery for students interested in current vacancies only. Participants should arrive no earlier than 8:45am and no later than 9am to participate in the mini-lottery. Students participating in an even room swaps do not need to participate in this mini-lottery and may arrive anytime between 9am-4pm. Any forms received after 4pm on Wednesday will not be eligible for room changes.

Students will receive notification from Housing via email within a few business days if the room change was approved. Please know that Housing will try to grant any preferences that you may have, but that we will not be able to grant all requested preferences because of the sheer number of requests we anticipate.
