Sophomore Year Experience

 

Mission Statement:

We create an environment that fosters self-exploration, ethical and value development and goal setting to help our sophomores refine their identity, explore their purpose and understand their role within the community at large.

 

Effective Programming:

All second year students who reside on campus are housed together in ABE, Centennial, Decker, New Residence and Norsworthy Halls. The student staff provide programming and mentoring opportunities for their residents with volunteer alumni of the college. In order to continue to facilitate out of the classroom contact with our faculty, student staff have one or two faculty members who take part in the programming efforts with the residents.
