Making a connection to TCNJ:

You will only need to perform the steps in this section once.

  1. Go to the My Computer icon on your desktop.
  2. Double-click on the Dial-Up Networking icon. If you don't see this icon, you probably don't have Dial-Up Networking installed. You need to install it before proceeding.
  3. Double-click on the Make New Connection icon.
  4. Enter TCNJ as the name of the computer you are dialing.
  5. Your modem should be already selected in the Select a modem box. If you have multiple modems, you may need to select the appropriate one.
  6. Click on the Next button.
  7. Fill-in the Area code box and the Phone number box (see the dialup phone numbers page for a list of valid area codes and phone numbers).
  8. Click on the Next button.
  9. Click on the Finish button.
