The Inspirational Words of Aunt May

Aunt May
I believe there’s a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most.

Even our dreams.
It's from Spider-Man 2. I never, ever get tired of hearing this one. Maybe a little contrarian for an entrepreneur, though: you'd think the entrepreneur's dream is the start-up, right? But after all, we have to give up all other dreams we may have to be steady, honest and strong for the company that depends on us.

Hello Ron,

You have put up a very nicely written and motivating blog. Your books seem to be a great read too. Just started reading them. It's 3.30AM here in Boston and I don't feel like sleeping before I finish navigating through your posts. Woops!! I am kiran,a new entrepreneur and an Indian student at UMass,Dartmouth. Looking forward to learn a lot from you.
Wonderful blog.I really appreciate your effort.

Great quote- reminds of my very first job interview - fresh out of college I enter the hallowed walls of a very respected VC firm and this crusty old man asks what I would do if I was sailing and a battleship pointed all its guns at me... sometimes you have to give up to save the bigger picture. Of course, the entrepreneur in me said "I'd sink your battle ship" and was promptly escorted out of that interview...
