E-mail Policy
All constituents of The College of New Jersey are required to maintain one primary college e-mail address. This e-mail address is the one that corresponds to the individual's Unix login and account name that is assigned when the individual is newly hired, or the account a student is given upon initial registration. An individual may set up a forward to whatever e-mail they currently use. See http://cyrus.tcnj.edu/ for details on how to do this. Maintenance of the forward is the responsibility of the individual.
Correspondence sent out by various operating units of The College will be sent to this account. It is the responsibility of the individual to check this account on a regular basis. You will be held accountable for the information in the notices sent to your account.
Employees without e-mail accounts
Managers will distribute announcements to employees under their supervision who do not have e-mail accounts or access.
