Dear TCNJ Families:
We're pleased to offer the 2009 Family Weekend Program! All parents and family members are welcome to attend. The program brochure is posted to this website and has also been mailed to the parents of all first year and entering transfer students. Please feel free to use either to register by mailing it back to us at the address provided. If you wish to pre-order tickets to the football game (which will cost the same at the door - your TCNJ student may enter for free) or for the President's BBQ (which will cost more at the door, as noted), you may include your payment for these with your registration form and they will be waiting for you at the Family Weekend Registration Table upon your arrival. If you have a child attending the Sibling Sleepover, please send them with a costume as we've included a costume contest in this year's program.
We hope you'll consider spending both Friday and Saturday with your student, on campus at the activities planned for you or off-campus enjoying a fall weekend in the area. You may want to go window-shopping in Princeton, pick apples at Terhune Orchard (www.TerhuneOrchards.com) or stroll the park-like setting and works of art at the Grounds for Sculpture (groundsforsculpture.org/). If you do choose to arrive on Friday to take advantage of some of these opportunities and plan to stay overnight in the area, please note the hotel information in the brochure and the deadlines for special rates they are offering to our families.
Please pre-register for the Sibling Sleepover and Cook-Off below and, as some activities may experience slight changes in time or location, do stop by the Family Weekend Registration table in the Brower Student Center to pick up an updated schedule of events upon your arrival. The College looks forward to your visit to campus and we hope you will have a wonderful experience here with your student.
