Featured Faculty:
At the SBDC we are closely tied with the TCNJ community and feel the need to appreciate some great faculty at TCNJ here on our website. We will update are featured faculty every two weeks. Students, co-workers, friends of faculty or fellow faculty members can email or call us to submit a request to put a faculty member on this page. All requests should be accompanied with a paragraph about them and their accomplishments as well as a photo.
Mr. Jack V. Kirnan, Interim Dean of the School of Business
Dr. Jack V. Kirnan was recently appointed the Interim Dean of the School of Business. Kirnan joins TCNJ following an almost 2 year stint at Rutgers Business School where he served as Senior Director of MBA Programs. He also brings a wealth of professional experience at the senior management level having worked at such firms as Credit Suisse First Boston, Salomon Smith Barney, Kidder Peabody, Merrill Lynch, Charles Schwab, and Texaco.
Mr. Andrew Carver, Assistant Professor at the School of Business
Andrew Carver is an Assistant Professor of finance at The College of
New Jersey's School of Business. He previously worked as an Equity
Research Analyst at Morningstar Inc., covering the banking sector.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an associate on the currency options
desk at NationsBanc-CRT, which later became part of Bank of America. His
work experience also includes internships at AXA Rosenberg Investment
Management and Eli Lilly’s decision science group. Carver's research and
teaching interests include capital budgeting, capital markets and
bankruptcy law. He graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in
mechanical engineering and economics, and he earned his Ph.D. and M.S.
from the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford
University.
