Math Ed Majors Present at AMTNJ Conference

Dr. Robert Cunningham and six TCNJ secondary mathematics education majors were an integral part of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of NJ Spring Regional Conference held here at TCNJ on May 19th. Dr. Cunningham conducted a session on improving geometry achievement and all of the students, who will be seniors next year, made presentations during that session. According to Dr. Cunningham, "They are an exceptionally talented group. It is a tribute to their professionalism and dedication that they came back to TCNJ for the conference after the school year had ended and that they presented their work ... to practicing teachers, who indicated that they would take many of the ideas back to their own classrooms."  The students are: Heather Lauritano of Hampton, NJ, Christina Parziale of Gillette, NJ, Stephanie Allen of Long Valley, NJ, Jennifer Kaplan of Marlton, NJ, Brittany Lopomo of Sea Girt, NJ, and Jessie Michlik of Princeton Junction, NJ.
