Computer Science Student's Poster Displayed at National Convention
Jon Bulava, Class of 2005 Comptuer Science major, had his mentored
research work accepted for inclusion in the student poster session
at the Tenth Annual Consortium For Computing Sciences In Colleges
Northeastern Conference (CCSCNE 2005), held at Providence College
on April 22, 2005. Bulava and Senior Brian Wanner worked for two semesters
with Dr. Peter DePasquale to prototype a Bayesian Filter for World
Wide Web content. The idea for such a filter comes from an idea expressed
years ago by the World Wide Web's inventor - Tim Berners-Lee.
