Computer Science Student Acclaimed for Library System Presentation

Eric Thul, a senior in the Department of Computer Science, participated in the annual conference of VALEnj, the Virtual Academic Library Environment of New Jersey. Eric's presentation, given with TCNJ librarians Edward Corrado and Heather Moulaison, is entitled "Integrating RSS Feeds of New Library Acquisitions into a Course Management System".  In attendance were librarians and systems administrators from the Association of College and Research Libraries and the New Jersey Library Association. Eric's presentation has been praised by Dr. Taras Pavlovsky, Dean of The College of New Jersey
Library, for being thorough and detailed, yet understandable, to not only those present with solid technical backgrounds but all who were present. It is expected that applications based on the work of Edward, Heather, and Eric will be popping up on college campuses all over New Jersey.
