Math Professor Presents at Two Worldwide Conferences

Dr. Nancy Hingston, a professor in the Mathematics & Statistics Department, has been invited to speak at two worldwide conferences. In Leipzig, Germany Dr. Hingston will take part in the "Geodesic Flow and Periodic Orbits Workshop", October 3 - 4, 2005. Her presentation is entitled "Periodic Solutions of Hamilton's Equations on Tori". Dr.Hingston will also take part in the "Texas Geometry and Topology Conference", which is held at The University of Texas at Austin, September 30 - October 2, 2005. This conference is supported by the National Science Foundation and the University of Texas. The Texas Geometry and Topology Conference is committed to the strengthening and enrichment of the mathematics personnel base. Dr. Hingston has made a significant contribution to both conferences and the mathematical community.
