Computer Science Student Selected to Intern in FBI Forensic Lab
After months of interviews and background checks, Lauren Leonardis, a computer science and psychology double-major at The College of New Jersey, was selected as the first student intern in the nation to work at an FBI Regional Computer Forensic Laboratory (RCFL).
Lauren, a third year student from Union, was recently informed that she successfully completed the application process, including earning a governmental top secret clearance, which is required for working with the RCFL. She will intern at the New Jersey RCFL (NJRCFL) in Hamilton, one of 12 labs nationwide.
Larry Depew, Director of the NJRCFL, is excited to offer this engaging
learning experience to Lauren and is pleased that the New Jersey lab
is the first in the nation to offer such a student internship. For
