Michael Massimi, Senior Computer Science Student,
Wins Scholarship
Michael Massimi, (Computer Science 2005), has received a 2004 Upsilon
Pi Epsilon (UPE) Scholarship Award. He is one of seven undergraduates
in the nation to receive the Microsoft award of $1,000. Upsilon Pi
Epsilon is the International Honor Society for the Computing and Information
Disciplines.
All scholarship applicants were required to complete a comprehensive
packet including: all college-level transcripts; UPE adviser recommendation;
and statements from applicants related to their contributions to their
respective UPE chapters and related student activities at their institution,
as well as their long-term plans for the profession.
