Two TCNJ Students Receive Humanism Award at UMDNJ
Two TCNJ Biology students, who are in their first year of medical school at UMDNJ, were presented the Humanism Award. This award recognizes both academic excellence and humanitarian values and comes with a $30,000 per year stipend. The students, Sonya Belliappa and Bharath Sathya, are in our 7-year combined BS/MD program, and will therefore receive their TCNJ degrees in Biology in May 2006. They were 2 of only 7 students to receive these awards in a class of 170.
