Data Visualization and Predictive Modeling
Dr.Chamont Wang, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, will present "Data Visualization and Predictive Modeling" on Wednesday, October 18, 12:00 - 1:00 pm in SC P101. This talk will discuss dynamic displays of spatial and temporal data in a variety of manners. A set of NASA Ozone data will be used. In addition, the talk will present a number of data mining tools in the investigation of the relationships between the variables. Some dramatic results, which may have far-reaching implications in other types of predictive modeling, are attained. All are welcome.
