Dr. Maggie Benoit
Dr. Benoit graduated from TCNJ Summa Cum Laude in 1999 with a major in Physics in the earth science track and a minor in Classical Studies. After earning a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University and completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Benoit returned to TCNJ as a professor in the Physics Department.
Her research interests are earthquake seismology, plate tectonics, and environmental geophysics. She is married and has one child. Dr. Benoit is eager to speak with anyone interested in a career in the earth sciences. She can be reached at benoit@tcnj.edu.
