T E C H N I C A L

the technical will be asked to research and evaluate programming languages

and techniques to find the most feasible way, acknowledging our limited time

this semester, to code our application. for this reason, a person with prior programming

experience will be a vitally important member of our project team.

 

 

some topics the technical team will need to research:

 

BPM (beats per minute) readings--finding and using these readings

finding and assigning start and end points in time-based visual media

using MIDI as a possible way of assigning transition times

fades, wipes, and other video transitions

simple, close to real-time exporting methods

video formats, sizes, and compatibility
