· New for 2012-2013! Income tax data can be easily transferred from the IRS to your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool

· IRS Tax Return Transcripts will be required if you are selected for verification & if you do not use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool

· State of NJ's application deadline to receive a Tuition Aid Grant (TAG) is June 1, 2012

· Don't forget to respond to the additional questions required by the State of NJ on the 2012-2013 FAFSA Confirmation Page

	Free Application for Federal Student Aid
	IRS Data Retrieval Tool This short video explains how to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. The retrieval tool allows FAFSA applicants and parents with the ability to transfer their income information from the IRS to the FAFSA.

	TEACH Grant Home TEACH Grant recipients must complete Initial and Subsequent Counseling and an Agreement To Serve (ATS) at this site.
	Federal Direct Stafford Loan In order to receive a Federal Direct Stafford Loan you must first complete the FAFSA. If you are a first-time borrower you are required to complete both a Master Promissory Note (MPN) as well as Entrance Loan Counseling at www.studentloans.gov.

*Please be advised that TCNJ will not be able to certify the loan(s) until you have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), received an award letter from The College, and accepted the offered loan(s) via PAWS.

**New borrowers must complete Entrance Loan Counseling before the first disbursement of their loan assistance at TCNJ. Borrowers graduating, ceasing enrollment, or withdrawing from TCNJ must complete Exit Loan Counseling prior to leaving the campus. Failure to oblige these requirements may result in award cancellation or the withholding of student records.
