2011 - 2012 Parking Decals

If you ordered your decal during the online registration period, your decal is available for pickup in the Student Accounts office.

**New Faculty/Staff - when you receive your TCNJ Faculty/Staff ID please bring your vehicle registration to the Office of Student Accounts located in Green Hall Room 119. You will receive a parking decal at this time.

Faculty/Staff Parking Registration Information

Please resolve any outstanding violations you may have prior to beginning this process. Failure to do so will prevent you from being able to renew your parking decal.

Faculty and staff are eligible to receive two (2) parking decals and one motorcycle decal. No more than two (2) parking decals will be issued to any faculty/staff member.

Please review this website for full text of motor vehicle regulations as well as a complete list of parking fines and penalties. Failure to read these regulations does not relieve motorists of their responsibility to comply.

Student Parking Registration Information

Students must come to the Office of Student Accounts, Green Hall 119, with the vehicle registration and payment in cash or check to get a decal.

Parking Decal Charges Rates:

Commuter Yearly Decal: $105.00 + 7.35 (tax) = $112.35

Commuter Half-Year Decal: 52.50 + 3.67 (tax) = $56.17

Resident Yearly Decal: $314.00

Resident Half-Year Decal: $157.00

Replacement Parking Decal: $6.00

Parking Services and the Division of Facilities Management, Construction and Campus Safety would like to remind all faculty, staff, and students that they are required to park in the lot(s) to which they are assigned at all times. Parking in a lot or space without proper decal or pass can result in ticketing and/or towing. Please also be reminded that an upraised parking gate is not an indication that parking is permitted and the use of hazard lights or flashers does not authorize parking in front of a building or in any designated space.

Guest and Visitor Permits

Temporary guest and visitor parking permits may be obtained from Campus Police, the Information Booth, or the Parking Services/Student Accounts office with the stipulation that a valid state vehicle registration certificate must be presented at the time of request.

Upon arrival on campus, all visitors (including guests of students, faculty, and staff, contractors and vendors) must report to the Information Booth for parking instructions and permits, unless prior arrangements have been made. The Information Booth is located near Paul Loser Hall. If the Information Booth is closed, visitors must report to Campus Police.

Campus Police is available 24 hours a day, seven days per week for the issuance of visitor permits. Campus Police is located in the Administrative Services Building on the first floor. They can be contacted at (609)771-2167.

Faculty and staff who are expecting visitors should contact the Parking Manager via email at parking@tcnj.edu. Please allow for adequate processing time by submitting your request at least two weeks prior to the date.  Parking Services works in conjunction with Campus Police to provide parking within reasonable proximity to their destination, but ample advance notification is essential if a large number of guests are expected.

Full Parking Lots

Any motorist unable to find an authorized parking space in their designated lot should proceed to the Information Booth or Campus Police for assistance. Lots 8, 9, and 11 authorized resident students unable to find space in their assigned lot may park in Lot 6.

Reporting Emergencies

Campus Police must be notified of motor vehicle accidents, vandalism, loss by theft, and any other auto related incidents, no matter how minor, and also when a vehicle is disabled and must be parked overnight and/or in a no parking area. Failure to notify the police may result in the vehicle being cited and towed.
