About SHS

The Society of Honors Students (SHS) was established to create an opportunity for students to meet outside of the classroom in an enriching environment. SHS gives students the opportunity to meet with professors outside of the classroom as well as other honors students from the college.

The Society of Honors Students has brought award-winning poets, photojournalists, and scientists to the campus and organized faculty discussions about ground-breaking research and developments. SHS also plans annual seminars on the various scholarships available nationally and world-wide, as well as fun activities such as hikes, apple-picking, movie and game nights, and cooperative junctions with other organizations.

Open to all students, the organization meets Thursdays at 8.30pm in the Allen Drawing room or Allen 107. If you're not part of the Honors Program, please email honors@ tcnj.edu to find out about our activities and meetings through the mailing list.
