Hard work and determination take on a brand new meaning as a TCNJ student-athlete. Being at this school and part of this team is so important to me. It has also shown me that I am capable of so much more than I ever thought. It is not easy to be a member of this team, but its rewards are immense, and I know I will carry the experiences long after I graduate.

"Vickie is coming off a good year and I'm looking for her to be solid for us in the upcoming season. The team needs her insight and mental toughness on the mound in order to have a successful 2002. I will count on Vickie to continue being a role model for the underclassmen."

I never truly realized what it meant to be on a team until I got here. For the past four years, I woke up every morning knowing I had a responsibility to my teammates, my caoches, and myself. With that kind of support, it is so easy to find the motivation to push yourself and achieve your goals.

"I am looking for Mandy to have her best season yet. We need her experience as a player as well as her ability to drive the ball to help TCNJ return to the NCAA Division III Softball Championship."

To be a TCNJ softball player means having the ability to never give up, to focus on a goal, and have the self-motiviation and willpower to achieve it. Teamwork is the key to our program.

"Jen is a smart player and has done a good job for us all-around. With two years under her belt, she brings a great deal of experience to herself and the rest of the team."

"Lauren filled a variety of roles last season. if we can get her to let loose with the bat, she could be a huge threat for us. I look for Lauren to help us behind the plate and in the infield."
