Steven Voinier (Captain)

Steven Voinier Concentration: Propellers

Steven is a senior Mechanical Engineer and team captain for the 2011-2012 Solar Splash team. He is responsible for the propeller design for both the endurance and sprint configurations. Leaving New Jersey for the summer, Steven participated in an undergraduate research program at the University of Hawaii-Manoa. Outside of school, he serves as the VP for ASME TCNJ chapter, treasurer for the TCNJ Engineering Society, and the secretary for the men's club soccer team at TCNJ. Steven plans to pursue his Ph.D. immediately following graduation.

Steven Stockhamer (Manager)

Steven Stockhamer Concentration: Telemetry, Solar Panels

Steven Stockhamer is a senior computer engineering student at The College of New Jersey. As a counselor for the TCNJ robotics camp last summer, he aided high school students in designing and debugging two autonomous robots. The previous summer, he interned at ITT Corporation, where he participated in the development of military radio software. Steve is the current president of the TCNJ IEEE student chapter, and an active member in the TCNJ Engineering Honors Society. After graduation, he plans to enter the workforce, while pursuing a master's degree part-time. Outside of class, he enjoys video games, playing guitar, reading, and spending time with his friends and family.

Glenn Reese

Glenn Reese Concentration: Power Management, Motor Control, Solar Panels

Glenn Reese is a senior electrical engineering student at The College of New Jersey. For the 2011-2012 Solar boat he helped with power distribution, motor controllers, and solar panel design. He has worked at The Boeing Company in Ridley Park, PA on the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft; specifically on the Flight Control System. He is also the captain and president of the TCNJ Club Ice Hockey team. After college he plans to begin his career in the engineering field, while simultaneously obtaining his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Patrick Dougherty

Patrick Dougherty Concentration: Endurance Drive Train, Weight Configuration

Patrick Dougherty is a senior Mechanical Engineering Major at The College of New Jersey. He is responsible for developing the endurance race drive train and for the general configuration of the Solar Boat. He interned with the South Eastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority in the summer of 2011 and currently serves as the President of TCNJ's chapter of ASME.

Christopher O'Mullane

Christopher O'Mullane Concentration: Sprint Drive Train, Steering system

Christopher is a senior Mechanical Engineering major at The College of New Jersey. His responsibilities for the 2011-2012 Solar Splash competition include the design and integration of the sprint drive train and steering system. During his junior year, Christopher had the privilege to participate in the NASA sponsored NJSGC research fellowship. He is actively involved with the TCNJ chapter of ASME and a current member of the TCNJ Engineering Honor Society. After graduation, Christopher hopes to join the workforce.
