Name: Russell Jones (Team Captain)
Concentration: Sprint drive train
Russell Jones is a senior
mechanical engineering student at The College of New Jersey. For the
2007-2008 Solar Boat, he helped with the hull and solar cell
fabrication. He has spent the last three summers working with the
Department of Defense at Picatinny Arsenal on non-lethal weapons
development. After college, he plans on applying to graduate school for
mechanical engineering. Outside of school, he enjoys photography, hiking
and metalworking.

Name: Sean Anderson
Concentration: Hull design and fabrication
Sean Anderson is a senior Mechanical Engineering student at TCNJ and
was a junior member of the 07-08 solar boat team. This past summer, Sean
interned at NASA's Langley Research Center where he worked with the
Systems Analysis and Concepts Directorate on a project aimed at
improving the fuel efficiency of commercial jet aircraft through new
engine configurations. After college he plans to attend graduate school
where he will pursue a PhD. When not designing boat hulls, Sean enjoys
football, frisbee, running, playing guitar (poorly), and tending to his
new pet mice.

Name: Chris Durando
Concentration: Endurance drive train
Chris Durando is a senior
Mechanical Engineering major at The College of New Jersey. For the
2007-2008 Solar Boat, he helped the team with some preliminary tasks. He
has spent his most recent summer participating in the Mentored
Undergraduate Summer Experience (MUSE), which is a summer research
program at The College of New Jersey. After graduating, Chris hopes to
begin his career in the engineering field. Outside of school, Chris
enjoys: going to the beach, playing football, and listening to music.

Name: Brad Shensky
Concentration: Solar Panels, PPT, Electrical system
Brad Shensky is a senior electrical engineering student at the College of New Jersey. He spent the last summer working at EPV Solar in equipment development and fabrication. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Brad plans to join the workforce and attend graduate school part-time. Outside of school, Brad volunteers through his church, playing drums, and enjoys ultimate Frisbee and golf.

Name: Jim Quigg
Concentration: Project Management, Steering system
James Quigg is a senior Engineering Management (mechanical preference) student at The College of New Jersey. For the 2009 Solar Boat Competition, he will be managing the team as well as designing the steering system. He has worked for the last two years at L-3 Communication's Space & Navigation division developing high precision fiber optic gyroscopes. After graduation from TCNJ, he plans on entering the work force before returning to school to get an MBA and masters in engineering. Outside of classes, he enjoys golf, tennis, and mountain biking.

Name: Ryan Van Antwerp
Concentration: Telemetry system, digital electronics
Ryan Van Antwerp is a senior Computer Engineering student at TCNJ. He is the current student manager of Residential Networking Services on campus where he repairs and builds computers as well as writes various computer utility programs. For the Solar Boat Team, he will be creating a telemetry system in order to transmit important boat statistics (current, RPMS, speed, voltage) to shore via an RF device. After graduating, he plans on attending graduate school. He also enjoys frisbee, manhunt, and programming.
