Letter from the Vice President for Student Affairs
Hello, welcome to Student Affairs at The College of New Jersey! You have come to The College of New Jersey to get a good education in your major field. But as you probably know, your education does not end when you leave the classroom. You have come to The College because you value our vision of Service, Diversity, Community, and Excellence, and we in Student Affairs are uniquely positioned to help you explore those tenets and make them part of who you are.
The programs and services in the Student Affairs area are designed to help you make the most of your years at The College, teach you leadership skills and enhance your capacity to live and work within a diverse community, while enabling you to have fun along the way. Programs and leadership opportunities encourage students to assume active roles in pursuing their college objectives, career goals, and personal development. Guidance and support from professional, graduate and student staff, coaches and peer advisors enable each student to achieve his or her personal best and ultimately make their unique contribution to our community of learners.
The staff in Student Affairs are here to work with you, to help you develop the skills and talents you’ve brought to the campus, and to engage you in the exciting and rewarding life of the campus.
