Students should be aware that, due to system updates, SUMMER 2009 REGISTRATION WILL BE CLOSED from JUNE 26, 2009 - JUNE 30, 2009 Registration will re-open on JULY 1, 2009. (Alternative methods of registration will be available closer to the closing dates listed above.) |
† Online Registration for TCNJ and Visiting Students will only be available for these dates. No exceptions will be made.
* In Person Registration must make payment at The Office of Student Accounts, Green Hall, Room 119. Payment must accompany all In Person registrations.
Online Registration

Follow the following steps in order to successfully register for a summer course.
- Step 1: Fill out the Registration Request Form for Visiting Students (Please note that this is only a request for a course and does not signify registration.).
- Visiting Student Registration Request Form - Maymester
- Visiting Student Registration Request Form - Session A
- Visiting Student Registration Request Form - Session B
- Step 2: You will receive e-mail confirmation for your registration request upon availability of the course. This certifies your registration to the course.
- Step 3: You will then receive payment instructions, as well as the link for the orientation packet. This orientation packet is also accessible online.
- Step 4: You must pay for the course by the deadline to avoid late charges.
Mail-in Registration Method
Follow the following steps in order to successfully register for a summer course.
- Step 1: Please print the Mail-In Registration Request Form for Visitng Students
and fill it out completely, including the Payment form (page 2 of form) and include your payment (check/money order).
Please note that this is only a request for a course and does not signify registration. - Step 2: Mail completed form and payment to:

- Step 3: You will receive e-mail confirmation of your registration request upon availability of the course. This certifies your registration to the course.
- Step 4: This orientation packet is accessible online.
Walk-in Registration Method
To register in person, please visit the Office of Records and Registration, in Green Hall 112. Office hours are 8:30-4:30PM, Monday through Friday.
You will be registered and will receive an e-mail confirmation with campus resources information. This method of registration must be accompanied with payment. This method will guarantee registration only if the course is open at the time of submitting registration.
In person payment can only be accepted as check or money order. All payments are made to The College of New Jersey
Important Information
- Undergraduate students are limited to twelve semester hours of summer study. Graduate are limited to nine semester hours.
- Undergraduate courses are numbered 100-400; graduate courses 500-600. Undergraduate students may not enroll for graduate courses without prior permission from the Graduated Studies Office, Green 109.
- Because enrollments are restricted by class size, students are encouraged to register as early as possible.Courses will also close due to low enrollment, therefore, it is important to register early.
- All students are advised they should choose their summer course selections with care and deliberation and after consultation with an academic advisor.
- AFTER THE DROP/ADD PERIOD THERE ARE NO REFUNDS . It is the students' responsibility to register for and appropriately withdraw from courses.
- NON-ATTENDANCE IN A COURSE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A "DROP" OR "WITHDRAWL" FROM THE COURSE .
