Summer School Payment Plan
Payment Plan for TCNJ students ONLY
The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) realizes the potential hardship facing our students today with the current economic environment. This challenge and others has prompted TCNJ to address our students’ needs. TCNJ has established a summer payment plan and are inviting summer school students to participate in the plan (Sallie Mae TuitionPay).
This invitation to pay through TuitionPay is extended to TCNJ continuing students (rising sophomores, juniors & seniors) and entering freshmen students ONLY. Visiting summer school students are not eligible to participate in TuitionPay.
- TCNJ students who have enrolled in any of the Summer School sessions may enroll in a tuition payment plan through Sallie Mae TuitionPay. The payment plan will include the tuition and fees for all registered summer school courses.
- Once the plan has been established, no additional courses can be added to the contracted payment plan. Students who wish to add courses after the establishment of the payment plan contract must pay for those courses, directly to TCNJ, outside of the payment plan.
PAYMENT PLAN DATES:
TuitionPay will be available for four installments. In order to have the four installments to make payment, the student must sign up for the plan prior to April 15, 2010.. Installment payment dates are as follows:
- April 25 2010
- May 25, 2010
- June 25 2010
- July 25 2010
PAYMENT PLAN ENROLLMENT:
Students will pay an enrollment fee of $45 payable to "Bank of America" via check or money order ONLY.
- This enrollment fee will not be credited against the student’s account balance.
- Additionally, students will be required to pay 10% of their total summer school account balance to TCNJ at the time of TuitionPay enrollment.
Students who enroll in the plan after the first payment date (April 25, 2010) must make up the April payment and continue their payments on the remaining payment dates.
Students will not be eligible for the payment plan after May 25, 2010.
OTHER PAYMENT PLAN REGULATIONS:
Students who default on the payment plan will face de-registration of summer and/or fall courses.
Students who wish to be re-registered will be required to pay at the time of re-registration the TCNJ late registration fine as well as the outstanding account balance after re- registration into summer courses.
- Students who have been de-registered are not eligible for an additional TuitionPay contract.
HOW TO ENROLL:
To enroll in the payment plan TCNJ students must go the Office of Student Accounts in Green Hall, Room 119 and make an appointment to meet with one of the Summer School TuitionPay administrator, Mr. Scott Sferra.
- Appointments will be made on a first come first serve basis any weekday between 9am and 1pm.
