The Office of Summer School at The College of New Jersey offers Faculty-Led Summer Programs to locations around the world, such as England, Spain and Greece. These programs provide a comprehensive cultural experience appropriate to novice as well as experienced travelers who are seeking a rewarding 3-week to 1-month study abroad experience. Taught by TCNJ Faculty, these programs are perfect for students who are not yet comfortable being outside of the US for several months but still want the amazing experience studying abroad.
Our Faculty Leaders have traveled to the locations of study and are experts in their fields. TCNJ faculty accompany the student groups throughout the program and provide on-site support services as well as pre-departure orientations. Do not hesitate to contact the Faculty Leader of your program if you have any further questions.
The Summer Faculty-Led Programs are offered to TCNJ students of all majors and grade-levels on a First-Come, First Serve Basis.
NON-TCNJ Student Participation:
College Students who are NOT enrolled at TCNJ who want to earn college credit may also apply to the Summer Faculty-Led Travel programs. These students should consult their home college/university to confirm that their school will accept TCNJ transfer credits. TCNJ is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, but each institution may have specific policies dictating what classes are transferable from outside institutions.
NON-TCNJ students must have an interview and be approved by the individual program’s TCNJ Faculty Leader in order to participate. Students must apply as a Summer “Visiting Student”.
