HOUSING
Housing is provided for most of the Summer Faculty-Led Study Abroad programs. However, housing for the following programs below requires an additional refundable deposit (not included in the total program cost) that will be returned to the student apon completion of his/her program:
- BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
- PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC
Buenos Aires, Argentina :
$100 - refundable housing deposit
Local apartments for your program have been arranged. These apartments are fully furnished and centrally located near the ISA office in the Palermo SOHO district of Buenos Aires.
Each student will be charged a refundable housing deposit. The housing deposit is separate from your program cost. An invoice will be sent by e-mail approximately 6 weeks prior to the departure of your program. You are responsible for sending the full amount of your deposit to program provider (ISA) by the program final forms and payment deadline (regardless of the amount you may be receiving in financial aid).
If you will be studying in Buenos Aires, your deposit will NOT BE HANDLED through ISA. Note the following:
Students will be charged a $100.00 housing deposit UPON ARRIVAL. This deposit must be paid in US dollars, and will be returned upon departure of the residencia providing that the unit is left in proper condition.
Prague, Czech Republic:
$500 - refundable housing deposit
Local apartments for your program have been arranged. These apartments are fully furnished and either within walking distance or conveniently located to public transit routes relative to the university. Rent is included in the program price and each resident will recieve his/her own key.
Each student will be charged a refundable housing deposit. The housing deposit is separate from your program cost. An invoice will be sent by e-mail approximately 6 weeks prior to the departure of your program. You are responsible for sending the full amount of your deposit to program provider (ISA) by the program final forms and payment deadline (regardless of the amount you may be receiving in financial aid).
Your apartment deposit may be paid by check or credit card. If you choose to pay with a credit card, there will be a 3% non-refundable service charge added to your bill. All checks will be cashed upon receipt and may not be postdated. At the end of the program, any damage charges incurred will be divided evenly amongst all students in the apartment and taken out of this deposit.
Refunds will be issued to the student from ISA after all apartments have been assessed by both the apartment management company and the on-site ISA staff. Refund checks will be sent to the student’s permanent address. The reimbursement period will depend on program site, group size, and degree of damage. Please allow ample time for your reimbursement check to reach you.
