Resolution

The SSSA supported the change in our organization with the following resolution, passed by the Executive Committee in March 2004:

WHEREAS the Southwestern Social Science Association has become such an organization, RESOLVED, that the Association is proud to be an organization that supports groups of scholars who initially focus on non-traditional areas and who can then develop into full academic programs comparable to other Association affiliates, an example being the transformation of the Women's Caucus into an affiliate identified by its promotion of the study of women and gender.
