The College of New Jersey Office of Campus Police Services currently consists of thirty men and women employed to provide for the safety of the members of the College community and the security of all property on campus. Campus Police Escorts
Escorts are available 24 hours a day. Call the campus police dispatcher at extension 2167 (from a cell phone 771-2167) to obtain an escort. Escorts are completed via vehicle, walking or a bike patrol. In case of an emergency dial 9-1-1
All of our police officers are fully trained, commissioned, and armed. In accordance with the state law under which they are appointed, officers have
" . . . all powers of police and constables in criminal cases and offenses against the law throughout the State of New Jersey." (Source: N.J.S. 18A: 6-4.2, et seq.)
These officers routinely patrol the campus on foot, in vehicles, and on bicycles, providing law enforcement and security services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
A copy of The College’s Safety Brochure
is available to download. This brochure lists all reportable statistics as mandated by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, as well as The College's policy regarding crime prevention and education on campus.

You will quickly discover the Office is a police agency committed to community policing and serving its constituents.
