A new lightweight, portable augmentative communication device that sells for only $79 is now on the market. Measuring in at 7"L x 5" W x 1" D and weighing only 8.1 ounces, the Listen To Me has 12 message buttons, each with an independent recordable sound chip that will hold up to 10 seconds. Each button has a clear sleeve on top for exchangeable icons. The carrying case has both hand and shoulder straps that attach directly to the top of the unit. The Listen To Me has two input ports: one for power from an AC. adapter and one for audio input from an external source. The unit operates on three AA batteries.
