Special Needs Grant Program For College Students in New Jersey


The Special Needs Grant Program originated with the Higher Education Services for Visually Impaired, Auditorily Impaired and Learning Disabled Students Act in 1986.  The Act established a system of regional centers to provide support services for special needs students.  The grant program is administered by the New Jersey Commission on Higher Education.
