The Siren is an SFB funded College of New Jersey publication that
provides a place for literary and artistic contributions from the campus
community. We strive to publish a collective smattering of everything that
is creative, original, and unusual in nature.
Any undergraduate student can be on staff for The Siren, regardless of
major. And, any undergraduate student, graduate student, faculty, staff,
or alumni may submit work.
Poetry and prose submissions are anonymously reviewed and voted in by
the magazine staff following a series of discussion meetings. The editors
determine how many pieces go into each issue and may exercise additional
discretion. Photos and artwork are selected at the discretion of the art director.
While we will accept anything of quality, we are constantly on the lookout for
that which experiments with style and form, offers unique perspectives or deals
with content that is refreshing and eye-opening.
