Apply To Become A Tutor
Information Sessions will be held in late February/early March for students who want to find out about becoming a tutor for the next academic year.
Applications will be available at the Information Sessions, and you can schedule a interview appointment at the end of the session.
Students may apply around the end of October to be hired for the Spring semester and at the end of February for the Fall semester hiring.

Mathematics & Science
You must have at least a 3.00 cumulative average and a "B" or better in the classes you wish to tutor.
Humanities & Social Science
Requisites for the position:
* 3.00 GPA or better
* B+ or better in courses applicant wishes to tutor
* Available and willing to tutor at least five hours per week
* Must be interested in assisting students with writing as well as humanities and social science course material.
* Must enroll in both IDS 291 and IDS 292 (These are one-credit courses which provide tutor training.)
* Must attend mandatory Center Procedures training session(s) during the first week of the semester.
* Must attend the January Conference on the first Saturday after the Spring semester begins.
Three faculty recommendations are required.
