Meeting Minutes: 2/06/02

- The fundraising letter we will be sending to the alumni is almost 
completed.  We will be sending it as soon as it is finalized.

- We are now looking to have induction the weekend of the first week
of April.  Dr. Knox isunavailable the first week of March and then we have 
Spring Break and Easter in March also.  We've also had trouble getting 
the list of prospective new members from Records and Registration due to 
problems on their part.

- Emily has set up the fundraiser at Chevy's for April 10th.  If you 
have any questions about it, you can ask her for more information.

- The CS Picnic is tentatively scheduled for April 24th.  The date 
depends on when department presentations for internships and research 
projects will be held, and also we are planning around the celebration 
of student achievement.

- We are planning on having the CS-wide game night on February 20th in 
lieu of a meeting.  We're planning on having a variety of board and 
party games such as pictionary, scrabble, trivial pursuit, etc. Details 
will be finalized at next week's meeting.

- There is a High School programming contest being sponsored by Professor 
Van Hise at the college on March 2nd.  She is looking for volunteers to 
help run the event.  Email Christina at grape2@tcnj.edu if you are 
interested in helping out, there are a bunch of different things you can 
do and the event runs from 9:30 to 4:30, but you don't have to stay the 
entire time.
