Minutes - September 24, 2001

- We need everyone to send their permanent address to
  upe@tcnj.edu as soon as possible.  It is in relation
  to your student membership in ACM.  The information
  was lost in the turnover of UPE leadership.  Also if
  you haven't paid your $25 dues, get in touch with us
  regarding payment.

- We went over the current membership list and straightened
  up who was listed on it.  In addition, we have received
  a preliminary list for new members.  We are planning on 
  having one induction in the Spring of 2002, but they will
  be invited to meetings this semester.

- We are still looking for speakers for the Fall and Spring 
  semesters.  If anyone has any contacts in the industry that
  would be willing to come and speak for free, let one of the
  officers know.  We are also looking at lecturers listed on 
  the ACM website.

- We are going to sponsor a trip to the SIGGRAPH Computer 
  Graphics Film Festival held by the Princeton chapter of the
  ACM.  The show is Wednesday, October 17, 2001.  We are going
  to post flyers throughout Holman and try to get members of 
  IEEE and SWE to come.  We are looking into getting a van 
  from the college or setting up carpools so that we won't all
  have to drive ourselves.  More information will be available 
  soon.
