--UPE PHONE-A-THON

Meredith Murray from Alumni Affairs talked to us about how to call alumni
and showed us her snazzy video.  The Phone-A-Thon will be in two weeks, on
November 11 and 12, in shifts from 6-8pm and 7-9pm.

Our current list of callers is as follows:

--KUBILUS Y2K TALK

This Thursday, November 5 in Forcina 130 at 8:00pm, please be there.  Mail
was sent out concerning what to bring in terms of snacks.  This is our
event so we would like everyone to be there.  And tell your friends.  Rich
and Christian volunteered to come early and help set up.  Dr. Knox has
arranged for a computer to be in that room for that night.  An ad in the
Signal, fliers, and memos to faculty have been distributed.


--DOW JONES CONTRIBUTIONS

Tim announced that the most recent draft of the proposal for machines is
done.  It will be parused by Ken Salmon and Dr. Knox soon.  Other issues,
including space for these machines, have come up and have hindered the
speed of the project.

will be meeting for the Phone-A-Thon in Green Hall 214).  OUR NEXT MEETING
IS (tentatively) SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 3.
