TCNJ Library Database
LexisNexis Academic Universe
Dates Covered & Contents:
Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe has been replaced by two services new to TCNJ. Please see the descriptions found below. (Lexis-Nexis Congressional Publications, Statistical, and Primary Sources in African American History are all still available to TCNJ users.)
Full-text of a wide range of domestic and foreign newspapers and wire services can now be searched and accessed through NewsBank’s Access World News. There are over 2000 titles ranging from U.S. publications, such as The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and 22 New Jersey newspapers, to overseas publications, such as London’s The Times and The Guardian, to Ankara’s Turkish Daily News. Please note that in September, Historical New York Times will be added, making the NYTimes searchable back to its earliest issues.
Legal resources can now be searched using Westlaw Campus. Federal and state statutes and legislative materials, federal and state cases, federal administrative materials, journals and law reviews, as well as European Union Library materials are all searchable and accessible.
If you have any questions, please call the Reference Desk at 609-771-2417 or email ask-l@tcnj.edu. For Reference Service hours, see http://www.tcnj.edu/~library/about/hours/hours.html
