Minutes for 9/20/07

• We would like to have a faculty-student luncheon with the theme "Meet the women of the IMM/CS faculty":
• It would be open to all students taking a CS course
• May take place in the 1855 room, which needs to be reserved
• Funding?
• Times? Wednesday, October 31 = no faculty meetings, might be good time
• We'd also like to have an information session where students discuss what they've done over the summer
• Includes TCNJ research, Googgle Summer of Code, Research Experience for Undergraduates
• Hopefully would be held in two weeks at the soonest
• An info brochure would be available to those who couldn't make the talk
• We discussed the possibility of reactivating the tutoring forum, and also about having TCNJ graduates come back to speak about their experiences and how their coursework has benefited them.
