Conference Registration

The regular conference fee is $100; the fee for graduate students, retirees, and independent scholars is $50. The registration fee covers a portion of the costs of the conference, and includes a ticket to the Thursday October 2nd performance of The Skin of Our Teeth and the Saturday October 4th banquet at which the first Thornton Wilder Prize will be presented to distinguished novelist Russell Banks (Continental Drift, Affliction, The Sweet Hereafter, Cloudsplitter).      

All who are presenting papers are required to pre-register by August 15, 2008.

Since there are no restaurants within walking distance of the campus, conference attendees have the option of pre-purchasing tickets to buffet dinners served in the 1855 Dining Room (faculty dining room) Thursday October 2nd and Friday October 3rd.  The cost of each dinner is $18.  Go to the Meals page for a description of the meals and choice of entrées  (including for the banquet). Then circle your choice(s) on the conference registration form.
