This web site is just one aspect of our work, and members are part of the larger scope and interests of the Society. We've formed this Society because we are passionate admirers of Thornton Wilder's work and want to share our enthusiasm and expertise with readers around the world. Members receive an annual newsletter that includes insightful and provocative articles about Wilder's life and works, along with previously unpublished material from the rich Wilder archives. Members are kept up to date on publications, performances and events around the country via 2-3 Wilder FYIs per year, and invited to special members-only occasions. Above all, it's a way to show your own regard for this astonishing writer, and to stay in touch with other Wilder fans here and abroad. Many of us have been hoping for a Thornton Wilder Society for the longest time. Here it is at last! Membership in the Thornton Wilder Society is open to scholars, teachers, professionals in the arts and members of the public interested in the life, works, and legacy of Thornton Wilder. The Society's annual membership dues are $25.
