Summary of Class Activities:

Attendance will be taken!

Dr. Wolz needs to take a personal day today to deal with family matters. You can contact her via email or chat (ucwolz@gmail.com). She will be online sporadically all weekend and definitely Monday morning.

As group, help each other complete the following tasks. Make sure EVERYONE gets through the following:

  1. Make sure everyone can get to the Wiki. Email Dr. Wolz if you still can't!
  2. Make sure everyone has a Scratch account on the Scratch site.
  3. Add your contact information to the contact page.
  4. Add your homework regarding the Scratch remix to that page.
  5. Share the small Scratch program (you wrote for homework due today) on the Scratch site. Add a link to it on the Scratch Warm Up Projects page. (See how Dr. Wolz did hers). Get TWO people in class to comment on your little Scratch program on the Scratch site. Get Dr. Wolz to do so too. You may need to nag her via email.
  6. Look at the collaborative research activity, and sign up for a task on the week 1 activity chart. We will review this on Tuesday.
  7. Start your homework which is to create a very small Scratch project that illustrates how a concept works. Make a note on the Scratch Warmup page listing which block you are illustrating, just as Dr. Wolz did for "say". More than one class member can choose the same block. Brownie points for choosing obsure ones.

EMAIL Dr. Wolz with questions. TALK to your classmates. Chat, text, use sign language, but share information, expertise and insight. (please!)
