Office Hours by Appointment

FOR COURSE ADVISMENT:

Hours for the coming week may or may not be posted below. When none are posted, suggest times in your email. When hours are posted email me to reserve a slot or explain that you can't make any of those and suggest some times you can meet. If you think you need more time than the slot indicated, please tell me that. With the exception of "registration week" and finals week, office hours will be scheduled Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. If you cannot make these times please be explicit about your availability. Please respect my family life and adhere to college business hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

FOR REGISTRATION ADVISEMENT:

Please email me the following (because unlike SOCS, PAWS does not allow me to retreive it without hours of work).

1. Your major and any double majors/minors.
2. Your status (e.g. Freshman, 4 courses completed at the end of Fall 09)
3. Your anticipated graduation year (e.g. May 2010).
4. Any concerns or problems I should research before we meet.

When you come to the meeting be prepared with either a shopping cart on PAWS or a paper plan of action. Please realize that I am not remotely responsible for knowing what the liberal learning requirements are. That is between you and PAWS. However, if you can prove an error on PAWS, I will buy you lunch at Tratorria Picolo in Hopewell NJ before May 2010.

EVERYONE:

Please be polite. This is professional correspondence. "Hey Prof" or "Hi Wolz" is inapproprate. The proper salutation is "Dear Dr. Wolz" (Unless I have explicitly invited you to use my first name.) Use professional language and sign your full name. If you are used to being addressed with a nickname (e.g. Chris for Christopher) please sign with that if you would like me to address you with that.
