SPRING 2001 Schedule
Ursula Wolz

TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT PLEASE read the following carefully and send email to wolz@tcnj.edu.

I keep my calendar through my laptop. Consequently, it is far easier for me to negotiate appointments through email than by phone. Furthermore, I work off-campus on Monday and Thursday, so even if the day appears free, it may not be convenient for me to come to the College for one appoitment. Thank you for your patience. Please do the following when making an appointment:

  1. Check the schedule below for open times. Please try for Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, and provide at least two meeting times in your email.
  2. In an email explain briefly why you need an appointment. Often we can conduct business through email, and I can arrange to have you drop off or pick up paperwork if necessary. This is not to say you aren't welcome to come and chat!
  3. Include your phone number in the event I must change or cancel the appointment at the last minute.
  4. Put bluntly: don't assume I've read my email. Do not consider yourself booked for an appointment until you've received a reply from me. If you don't receive a reply to an initial message within a couple of days, email again. Sometimes mail gets lost, or my box gets flooded. On the other hand, don't expect a reply within minutes. I "respect the sabbath" where email is concerned. I turn it off from sun down on Friday through Monday morning. If its urgent, call Ms. Dash at 609 771 2268 and she can track me down. And yes, in extreme emergencies, find my home phone and call. I'll growl, then I'll do what's necessary.

Research projects this semester (sponsored through Ind. Study and Faculty Mentored Research): WHAT, JavaTeach, JDB-Assist, Games (links to web sites coming soon). Please do not "drop in" during these scheduled meetings. But you can catch me during the transitions as the hour turns over.

Campus meetings are scheduled on Wednesdays from 12:00PM to 5:00PM.  I may be free so try one of these times too! I attend Department, School and Academic Leaders Meetings as well as Campus Events   The Faculty Information Calendar may also be of interest.
